IMPORTANT!

If you already have Gnosis installed, and are upgading, make sure you have first installed gnosis 1.0.9b. This will prepare Joomla!'s update SQL system to handle the database changes. After you have installed com_gnosis1.0.9b, then you may install com_gnosis1.1.0.

If this is your first time installing Gnosis, then simply download this version and install as normal. Installing 1.0.9b first is not required for first time installs.

Changes

This version adds a date created, date modified, tags, and source fields. It also changes the way the admin chooses which fields to show. Now, in addition to choosing which fields to show, the administrator can choose in which order the colums display. This is achieved by entering a comma delimited numeric list corresponding to fields in the gnosis administrator options. More specific instructions about which fields correspond to which number are listed in the administration.

A quick example, however, is if one wanted to display only the term and definition, then one would enter 0, 3 in the administration option.

* 1.0.9b 20130705 There are no changes between 1.0.9b and 1.0.7b besides adding a dummy update sql file to prepare for the next release.. The purpose of this is just to reorganize the downloads away from a package system of release.

*1.0.7b Dramatic changes to the organization of the plugin code. Also fixed what might be called a recursion issue that was causing the plugin tooltip to break when encountering definitions which themselves had plugin syntax.

Additionally the component list and category views now allow content plugins (this was the reason for the above noted plugin changes). The administrator can turn content plugins on and off through the respective com_gnosis config tabs.

* 1.0.7 This version adds more administrative options. The administrator can now choose to show username, or name for the created by field in the front end. They can also turn off the front end etymology, example usage, definition, and pronunciation fields in the front end.

* 1.06a completes the French translation. Thanks philou!!

* 1.06 has been tested on three separate Joomla! installs, including hypermodern.org to verify the language issues have been resolved.
